2021-2022 Legislative Priorities of MNA Nurses and Healthcare Professionals

The Massachusetts Nurses Association, representing 23,000 nurses and healthcare professionals througout the Commonwealth, engages in a comprehensive membership-driven process to file and work toward passage of legislation that addresses the concerns of its members.

MNA nurses and healthcare professionals will engage with their lawmakers around a number of topics over the next two years, and encourage everyone to join them in their advocacy.

Priorities include presumption of workplace exposure of COVID-19, preserving essential healthcare services, preventing workplace violence, ensuring hospital financial transparency and studying the quality of patient care and the nursing workforce.
