Description: Research indicates that nurses encounter approximately one system failure every hour and spend about 15% of their time managing system failures in order to provide patient care. These workarounds often bypass established patient safety policies and protocols as well as nursing standards.
This course includes a panel of experts who will provide their views on the implications of “workarounds” or cutting corners on patient care and your professional license.
