What’s New in Diabetes Care: 2023 American Diabetes Association Standards of Care for Kids and Adults

$25Description: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimate that over thirty-seven million people of all ages in the US are living with diabetes. Nurses are uniquely situated to provide the education and support that is required for good glucose control and management. Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES) are an essential part of nursing interventions for patients and families. This program will address current best practices for diabetes care including the newest medications, use of technology, and disparities in care in both pediatric and adult populations. Current public policy will also be addressed.
