The Nurse’s Role in Caring for Risk of Violent Patients: Fourth Amendment and Patient Search and Seizure

Description: Workplace violence against healthcare providers is a complex phenomenon fraught with ethical/legal challenges. This program will discuss mitigating risk factors of potentially violent patients, Fourth Amendment and private search and seizure. Case studies will be analyzed and discussed.
