RN Magazine highlights benefit of new national (DS)
RN magazine, by no means a union-friendly publication, has an article in the current edition discussing their latest RN salary survey. At the conclusion of the article, where they talk about “hopeful” indicators for the future of nursing salaries they include the following paragraph:
“With a democratic president and Congress and a recent alliance among there nursing associations with the AFL-CIO to address healthcare, union and nursing workforce issues, nurses’ union membership may rise, which past RN surveys have linked to higher salaries”
