JONA – Creating a Positive Work Environment Implementation of the Nurse-Friendly Hospital Criteria (DS)

Here is a JONA study about what constitutes a “nurse friendly hospital environment. See the paragraph I highlighted in red, which all scored at the top of this study. Two points I would make: a strong union with good staffing/labor management and health and safety committees ensure all of these criteria, and the section highlighted in red on orientation is a major factor related to floating of nurses that we can point to in our various disputes.
