NYSNA Seeks Volunteers for Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts
Your nursing skills are urgently needed to help with Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. Volunteer opportunities are available seven days a week, for either 4 or 8 hour shifts.
  • On Staten Island, nurses are staffing a NYSNA mobile clinic, administering tetanus boosters, and going door-to-door to conduct assessments of patients in need.
  • On Coney Island, nurses are staffing temporary medical field clinics.
  • On the Rockaways, nurses are staffing field clinics and doing door-to-door assessments.
  • On Long Island, nurses are volunteering with the Red Cross.
Follow the link below to register for volunteer efforts. You will be contacted by a NYSNA staff member that is coordinating efforts in the region you indicate on the following form. Please complete as much information as possible, and thanks for your involvement and efforts.
