Boston University’s Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CARD) is recruiting nurse participants for a very important research study entitled, “Through the eyes of nurses: COVID-19 and mental health functioning.”
The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of the COVID-19 virus on behavioral and mental health outcomes among nurses, including Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), alcohol use disorders (AUD), generalized anxiety, suicidal ideation, depression, and poor health behaviors, as a result of exposure to COVID-related traumatic events.
The study will consist of one set of online questionnaires expected to take 30 minutes. You will have the chance to be compensated for your participation in this study. Risks of participating in this study include discomfort or boredom while answering questionnaires and loss of confidentiality. The plan is to enroll 5000 participants in this study.
