Boston City Council Calls on Governor, Boston Delegation to Support Occupational Presumption Legislation

Many thanks to Boston City Councilors Ed Flynn and Liz Breadon for their work in getting the city council to sign on to letters to both Governor Baker and the Boston delegation asking them to support the occupational presumption legislation.
 
This legislation would ensure that that any healthcare worker who contracts the coronavirus got it at work and makes sure that no healthcare worker has to use his or her own PTO or sick time to quarantine, treat, or recover from the coronavirus. No one we deem essential should be harmed if they get sick doing their jobs.
