Description: Nurses and healthcare providers experience multiple stressors and competing responsibilities every day. This workshop will explore the landscape of stress responses as well as the experience of moral distress than can occur when nurses are unable to provide comprehensive quality care. Moving beyond the individualized self-care approach to resolving the suffering experienced, we will learn from each other about practices and habits that are helpful as well as discuss the concept of collective or community care.
