Description: COVID-19’s effect on the mental health of young children and adolescents has been increasingly evident to those who interact with them. This next generation of young people experienced a loss of learning and are now demonstrating a lack of problem-solving skills and social skill development in addition to increased anxiety and elevated behaviors.
This program will address the policies that influenced the trajectory we are on and the impact of COVID-19 on kids as they interact with each other, school staff, and society in general, and the efforts to address this crisis including the public policy strategies and changes that brought us here.
