This day-long event, consisting of two individual educational programs, is designed to provide a global overview of the incidence of COVID-19 in regions across the world, including Australia, Singapore, Kenya, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Additionally, the program will provide an analysis of the physical, emotional, and psychosocial consequences of COVID-19 on nurses and other frontline healthcare workers. Lastly, the program speakers will describe strategies for the care of persons living with the long-term health effects of COVID-19. Speakers will include internationally renowned physicians; numerous nurse experts; and Dr. Carolyn Clancy, Acting Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs.

Morning Program (8:10am to 12:30pm ET): COVID-19 Lessons Learned: A Global Perspective

Afternoon Program (1:30pm to 4:30pm ET): Nurses' Challenging Journeys Caring for Patients and Themselves

ONLY Nursing Continuing Professional Development contact hours and a Certificate of Attendance will be provided.

Register to attend either of the two half-day programs or register for both to attend the all-day program.

To receive Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) credit for the session(s) you attend, you must be present for that/those ENTIRE live webinar session(s); partial CNE credit will not be awarded. You must also complete the webinar's associated pre-tests in advance of the program, as well as both the associated post-tests and program evaluations no later than 5:00pm ET on June 18, 2021. A Verification of Participation and Successful Completion certificate will be e-mailed to you later.

Massachusetts Nurses Association:
Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) credits will be provided for this/these educational webinar(s). These programs meet the requirements of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing. MNA is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Respiratory: This program has been approved by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care.

Dentistry:  This program has been approved by the Southern Kentucky AHEC as meeting general medical/dental requirements outlined in 201 KAR 8.531 for dentists and 201 KAR 8.561 for dental hygienists.

Pharmacy: This program has been approved by  the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy.

Radiology: This program has been submitted to the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.  (Credit Pending)
