Union Speak is a new program being offered by the MNA for all members. It is intended to be an introduction to the labor movement, including such topics as:
- Labor’s organizational structure
- Terminology
- Beneï¬ts of belonging to a union
- Some key historical events
- Some key labor laws, etc.
Union Speak will be offered quarterly and will be available through Zoom. The ï¬rst session of Union Speak will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. The Zoom link will be posted the day before the session. The topic on that day will be “What is a Union?”
