Massachusetts Nurses Association Endorses Pam Richardson for Re-election

Cites Her Commitment to Health Care and Nursing Issues

Canton, Mass.–The Massachusetts Nurses Association (MNA), the state’s largest union of registered nurses and health care professionals, announced its endorsement and support for Pam Richardson, Democratic incumbent candidate for State Representative in the 6th Middlesex District, which includes a number of precincts in Framingham.

“Representative Richardson has shown a strong commitment to ensuring that the citizens of Massachusetts have access to, and receive, safe and affordable health care which is of the utmost importance to the nurses of Massachusetts,” says Beth Piknick RN, President of the MNA. “Representative Richardson understands the vital role that nurses play in today’s health care system and she has been a strong supporter of the Patient Safety Act, pending legislation to protect all patients in our hospitals by setting a safe limit on the number of patients a nurse can care for at one time. The MNA is proud to support her re-election to the House of Representatives.”
