MNA Delegates Participate in NNU Founding Convention

Twenty-two delegates from the Massachusetts Nurses Association are in Phoenix this week for the founding convention of National Nurses United, the new national voice for nurses. After much deliberation of the many nurses who were willing to represent MNA at the founding National convention, the Board filled the 22 seats by proportionately selecting nurses from each of the various regions. This was consistent with the motion adopted by the MNA membership at its October convention. A number of alternates were also selected to assure if for some reason a delegate was unable to attend or function as delegate at the convention, MNA would be assured its full representation. We hope the level of interest and willingness of our members to move the National agenda continues as there will be much to do and other opportunities going forward. The following delegates and alternates will be representing MNA on December 7 and 8th. We thank all that put their name forward.
