MNA Labor School Bargaining Series Begins May 6

MNA members looking to strengthen their bargaining and organizing skills are invited to join the MNA Labor School Bargaining Series, beginning May 6.

The three-part series, running May through July, offers practical education on core bargaining strategies, collective action, and contract campaign analysis to help members build power in their workplaces and at the bargaining table.

The series opens with Bargaining Basics: Ready, Aim, Win on May 6 and May 20, focusing on the foundations of effective bargaining, member engagement, and campaign-building.

Additional sessions include:

When Workers Take Action: Rules and Tools for Effective Pickets and Strikes, June 17 and July 8. This workshop covers legal considerations, strategic planning, and tools to prepare members for effective collective action.

From Numbers to Power: Understanding the True Cost and Value of Your Proposals, July 22. Participants will learn how to analyze proposals, understand contract economics, and use data to support strong bargaining campaigns.

Whether members are new to bargaining or experienced union leaders looking to sharpen their skills, the series offers tools to turn participation into power.
