The MNA Board of Directors has scheduled a home care summit to bring together MNA members to discuss ideas, tactics and strategies to better support our members working in the home care setting.
Topics to be Covered:
• The Current State of Home Care in Massachusetts – how federal (and resulting state) budget cuts impact our practice and workplace and what we need to do about it as a Union.
• Using our Power to Address Issues in the Workplace – with a focus on best practices to address “productivity standards.”
• Building an Escalating Contract Campaign: internal organizing to win!
• Organizing in the Home Care Sector.
• Preventing Workplace Violence.
Other Details:
Breakfast and lunch to be provided, with Happy Hour following the summit from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. at Trillium Brewing in Canton.
