We want to remind all MNA members to remain vigilant about cybersecurity threats, including scam texts, phishing emails, and fraudulent phone calls. These types of attacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated and can target both individuals and healthcare facilities.
Recently, we received reports of members getting a text message from 530-249-4212 claiming to help “activate benefits” and directing them to a fake link. This is a scam. If you encounter this message — or anything similar — do not click any links, respond, or provide personal information. Please delete the message and block the sender immediately.
If you have questions or suspect a phishing attempt related to the MNA, contact our IT Helpdesk at helpdesk@mnarn.org. If you suspect there is a cybersecurity problem at your workplace, alert your employer and local MNA representatives.
