Petition Information

Attention Unit 7 Members
Your Efforts are Having an Impact
Don’t Let Up – Join the Petition Drive for a Fair Contract

As a result of your pressure, the Unit 7 State House Rally, your letters and phone calls to legislators and the local unit informational picketing events, the state is now meeting with us for contract negotiations on a weekly basis. Now more than ever, it is important to turn up the heat.

As part of the contract campaign, the Unit 7 Executive Board has launched a petition campaign to put MORE pressure on the Romney/Healey Administration. We need to gather thousands of signatures from all our family and friends to show public support for our contract.

Download as many copies of the petition as you need.

In talking to your friends, neighbors and family, please refer to the talking points to help them understand why their signature is important.

RETURN THE COMPLETED PETITIONS TO:

UNIT 7 CONTRACT CAMPAIGN
Massachusetts Nurses Association
340 TURNPIKE STREET
CANTON, MA 02021
781.821.4445 (fax)

Or give them to your Unit Chair, or to your MNA Unit Rep.

The deadline to return petitions is December 31. Feel free to use holiday gatherings as an opportunity to speak with folks and get signatures.

Remember, the longer the state drags their feet, the more critical the situation becomes as the gap between our compensation and the private sector continues to widen. This makes recruitment and retention more difficult than ever.

YOU'RE DOING A GREAT JOB, KEEP THE PRESSURE UP!
