Update for Unit 7 Members/ Public Sector Employees Insurance Increases!
Last week, the House of Representatives voted to reject Governor Patrick’s proposal to increase state employees premiums for their health insurance coverage in their FY09 state budget recommendations. Thanks to all MNA members for their phone calls, letters and emails, this proposal was defeated by overwhelming numbers in the House. We will continue to keep you posted as the budget moves to the Senate for debate.
