Calculate Your GIC Health Insurance Costs
The Health Insurance calculator can help you calculate how much your premium could change under Governor Patrick's proposal. Please use the calculator as a close estimate only. All rates are based on "Monthly GIC Plan Rates as of July 1, 2007."
Governor Patrick's proposal is to create three tiers of cost:
- If you make less than $35,000, you would pay 15% of the total premium cost;
- If you make $35,000 to $50,000, you would pay 20% of the total premium cost;
- If you make more than $50,000, you would pay 25% of the total premium cost
