MASSACHUSETTS CAMPAIGN FOR SINGLE PAYER HEALTH CARE COALITION

The Massachusetts Campaign for Single Payer Health Care (MASS-CARE) is a coalition of over 80 organizations, including the MNA, which are dedicated to work for universal single payer health care in Massachusetts.

MASS-CARE was organized in 1995 and can be contacted at:

Another member of the coalition, The Massachusetts Teachers Association, reaffirmed its commitment to support the legislation in 2003 with a grant of $10,000 to MASS-CARE.

You can view a comprehensive list of Member Organizations by visiting the MASS-CARE member page.

BILL ENDORSERS AND CO-SPONSORS

44 Representatives and 16 Senators have signed on to co-sponsor the bill!  There are still a number of legislators who we know are supportive who need to indicate their support.

You can get an updated list of Representatives and Senators that support the bill by visiting the MASS-CARE activist page.

If your legislator is not on the list, please email them or given them a call and urge them to support the Massachusetts Health Care Trust.  The Representatives can sign on as supporters by calling Representative Frank Hynes (D- Marshfield) office.  The Senators can sign on as supporters by calling Steven Tolman's (D- Brighton) office.

If your legislator is on the list, email them and thank them.

If you don't know who your legislator is, click here and follow the prompts.
