This program will provide nurses with information regarding current critical and emerging infectious diseases. The morning session will address the epidemiology, signs/symptoms, treatment and prevention of specific diseases. The afternoon session will address protecting nurses and others from disease exposure through the use of environmental and work/practice controls. |
