Description: Nurses and others who encounter victims of human trafficking often do not recognize it and opportunities to intervene are lost. This program will provide nurses with information resources to understand the phenomenon and the related health risks of human trafficking, to identify indicators and recognize signs that an individual is being trafficked. Strategies for safe intervention will be presented.
