Tentative Agreement Reached at North Adams Regional Hospital

The registered nurses of the North Adams Regional Hospital, who are represented by the Massachusetts Nurses Association, have reached a tentative agreement with the hospital management. Among the important issues covered in the proposed contract are union security and retention of a defined benefit pension plan. The proposed settlement comes on the heels of an overwhelming strike authorization vote two weeks ago and a 15-hour negotiation session. Specific details of the agreement will be released once the full details of the pact have been shared with the membership.
