North Adams Regional Hospital Sends in Police
To Evacuate All Personnel and Occupiers
The Hospital Emergency Department Will Close
Within the Hour
Northern Berkshire County Will Have NO Access to Health Care Services as the State Abandons Those in Need
This decision comes after MNA officials had met with hospital management and we were told that care in the ED was perfectly safe and there were enough supplies to operate the service through the weekend.
This is a travesty for the community and workforce of Northern Berkshire County. In response efforts are being made to step up the occupation of the hospital, and for increased calls for intervention by the Governor and others to address this public health crisis.
