Description:

 

This American Heart Association course will provide information on the clinical management of cardiac and respiratory emergencies through case study approach. Course content includes assessment, arrhythmia recognition, intubation, defibrillation and pharmacological interventions. This is a two day certification and a one day recertification course. Attendees of this course must be proficient in basic dysrhythmia interpretation. This challenging course requires a high degree of self study and is best suited for nurses who work in the areas of acute and critical care.
