Check out this video of testimony delivered by North Adams Regional Hospital ED nurse Diane George delivered at a State House Hearing on March 24, just one day before the NARH board announced its illegal closing of the hospital. George urged legislators to enact a bill pending before the legislature — the Hospital Profit Transparency and Fairness Act — that would provide for greater transparency about hospital finances as well as create a fund that would protect vulnerable hospitals like North Adams Regional Hospital from closure.
