The Health and Safety Program in the MNA Department of Nursing was designed to provide members with assistance related to health and safety issues and to assist and coordinate member activities in the health and safety arena. It is run by Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialists at the MNA and the issues span a wide range of topics from bloodborne pathogens and needlesticks to union advocacy for health and safety.
