Keep Our Struggle in the News—Write a Letter to the Editor

As we continue our struggle to achieve safe staffing and a fair contract, each of us can play a role in keeping our story in the public eye by taking a few minutes to write a letter to the editor for the Telegram & Gazette. You can send a letter to the editor at letters@telegram.com. Keep your letter to 250 words or less (anything longer and they won't get printed) and include your name, address and phone number.

Let the public know why safe staffing levels are important to you and the patients you care for. Let them know how being assigned non-nursing duties detracts from your ability to provide the care and monitoring patients need. Let the public see how the issues behind this contract struggle impact your ability to provide the care they expect and deserve from you and your colleagues at St. Vincent Hospital.
