LEGISLATORS SUPPORT NURSES AND OTHER HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS

LEGISLATIVE CALL TO ACTION TO BE DELIVERED TO ROMNEY/HEALEY

Legislative leaders will deliver a bipartisan letter supporting state employed Unit 7 RNs and other health care professionals to the Governor’s office Tuesday, April 4th. The letter of support, which has been signed by well over 100 Senators and Representatives, calls on Governor Romney and Lt. Governor Healey to settle the contract. The Legislators seek a quick, equitable resolution that will guarantee the continued quality care for the state’s most vulnerable patients. The 1,800 nurses and other health care professionals, represented by the Massachusetts Nurses Association and part of the state’s Unit 7, have been without a contract for over 1,000 days.
