At a January 15 community rally for health care reform, seniors, nurses, unemployed, low-income workers, and the uninsured joined striking GE workers to say:

“Health Care for All... Not Health Cuts at GE!”

Over 200 people attended a January 15 rally for health care reform. Speakers included Ed Fire, President of IUE-CWA; Phil Mamber, President of Mass Senior Action Council; Peggy O’Mally, Chair of Mass Care and a member of the Mass Nurses Association. 

Leslie Greenberg, chair of the Lynn Health Task Force, led a speakout with participants at the rally.  The meeting was chaired by Jeff Crosby, president of IUE-CWA Local 201 and Cassie Watters from Jobs with Justice.
