Community Rally for Waltham Hospital's Future

WHO: Coalition to Save Waltham Hospital, a broad grassroots organization and campaign to save the Deaconess Waltham from closure and to protect the health care delivery system in the Greater Waltham area.

WHAT: Community Rally and Forum for the citizens of Waltham and employees/patients of Waltham Hospital to stop the closing of this vital community resource and explore viable options for allowing the hospital to remain open.

Speakers and invited guests include medical staff, employees, patients, elected officials, gubernatorial and other statewide candidates, union representatives and community leaders.

Coming from 128 Southbound
Take Rt 128 South to the Trapelo Rd. exit in Waltham.
At the end of the exit ramp, take a LEFT.
Follow Trapelo Rd to the first major intersection (Mobil and Shell gas stations on left).
Take a right onto Lexington Street.
A sign for Waltham High School is approximately 1/4 mile later on the left.
At the SECOND SET OF LIGHTS, take a LEFT.
Go straight. Kennedy Jr. High School will be in front of you.

Coming from 128 Northbound
Take Rt 128 North to the Totten Pond Rd exit in Waltham.
At the end of the exit ramp, get in the middle lane and go to the set of lights.
At these lights take a right (because you can't take a left).
Get in the left lane, and follow Totten Pond Road until it comes to a T-intersection and a set of lights.
Take a LEFT at these lights onto Lexington Street.
Stay in the RIGHT LANE.
At the next set of lights, take a RIGHT into the Waltham schools road.
Go straight. Kennedy Jr. High School will be in front of you.
