  Long Term Care Report Series

Presented by the MNA ReTIREed Nurses Role Group (Transition into Retirement Effectively)

One of the goals of the ReTIREd Nurses Role Group, a group formed to help retired nurses transition into retirement effectively, is to discover how we can as a group work for the betterment of the profession and nurses. We also will look at legislation that affects health and nursing and try to effect some changes through legislation and by working with the legislative group of MNA. Because of who we are, we hope to investigate health care insurance and other factors that affect retired nurses.

Below is a series of monthly report findings from our first investigation into long term care.

November Report:

Planning for long term care,
By Patricia M. Dunn

December Report:

Long-Term Care For You, Your Parents, Partners, and Patients
by Beth J. Thompson
