To help members understand the reasons why the vast majority of our
members and leaders support disaffiliation from the American Nurses Association,
the MNA has produced these video interviews, which include an overview
of the issue presented by the MNA's executive director, a legal opinion
provided by MNA's legal Counsel and a selection of opinions from a number
of elected leaders:

not already have this software, you can download and install a free
version of it by clicking the link below. IMPORTANT NOTE: Be sure
to download RealPlayer 8 Basic, which is found
in the lower left section of the RealPlayer web page. This version
of the software is FREE. Do not select RealPlayer 8 Plus, which is
located at the top of the page and cost $29.99.

The video clips below are available in two different formats
based upon the speed which you connect to the Internet. If you connect
to the
Internet via a telephone dial-up connection, click on the "Low Speed" link.
If you are connected via a high speed connection (cable modem, DSL, or
company LAN etc.), click on the "High Speed" link. Once engaged,
be sure to increase the volume of your RealPlayer software. This control
is located on the bottom right of the RealPlayer video box.

Instructions
for Downloading
and Installing RealPlayer
1 Click on the RealPlayer logo on the MNA Video page
This will take you to the RealPlayer web page.
2 Once on this page, you will immediately see a link to download
RealPlayer 8 PLUS for $29.99 - ignore this link. Instead, continue
to scroll down the RealPlayer page to find a link to download RealPlayer
8 BASIC -- which is FREE.
3 Double click on this link and the process of downloading
will
begin.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a two-step process.

First, you must download the software. (Requires you to select a location
on your computer to store this software.)

Second, you must install it on your computer. (Process prompts you with
a number of questions.)
- For this second part, installing - you must go to the file
in your computer
where you have decided to download/store this software. Once you
locate it on your computer, double-click on it to open/install it. This
process will prompt you with a series of questions (e.g., email address, do you
want RealPlayer updates)

Once complete - keep this software open and operating, then return to MNA
Video page and double-click on the video you wish to view.
- If this process does not work, you may need to re-boot your
computer after
you have downloaded and installed this software. Remember to keep
the software open on your desktop while viewing the videos.
Another Important Note: Be sure to increase your
computer's
speaker volume and your RealPlayer volume when viewing these videos. The
RealPlayer volume control is located in the lower right corner of the
box.
