Dear Memorial Hospital Nurses,

The UMass, St Vincent, Public Health, and Public Health/School Nurses of Worcester send congratulations on your record card signing campaign with over 70% of your members signed on in 3 weeks. Also, congratulations on winning your neutrality agreement. We look forward to you joining us as MNA members.

We can tell you that once you vote to become a bargaining unit with the MNA you will be joining 18,000 professional nurses who are making nursing history. We have all enjoyed the benefits of being union nurses, having a voice at work and being able to improve our working conditions.

We can tell you that being union members we are able to obtain good mandatory overtime language, benefits, wages, better staffing and working conditions. Through negotiations, the grievance process and labor/management meetings we have had a voice in developing our work environment.

We can tell you that being MNA members enables us to network with other nurses around the State and the Country. As members, we are afforded protection, advocacy, and council provided by the MNA's exceptional legal team. Because of our membership, we have a powerful voice on Beacon Hill and Capital Hill.

On June 21, we hope you overwhelmingly vote to become members of the MNA and join us in giving the Worcester nurses a powerful voice throughout the city and within the MNA. We are excited to have you on board and look forward to working together.

In union solidarity,

Kate Maker Chair person of Umass Campus, MNA

Pat Mayo Co-chair of St. Vincent Nurses, MNA

Deb Rigiero Co-chair of St. Vincent Nurses, MNA

Donna Hoey Co-chair of WPH, WPH/School Nurses, MNA

Mary Ann Ludy Co-chair of WPH, WPH/School Nurses, MNA
