MNA Goes Union Direct!

The MNA Is Converting From Payroll Deduction To Electronic Funds Transfer Or Credit Card Payments - Why?

  • When contracts expire, employers withdraw dues payments as a weapon against bargaining units of the MNA in an attempt to weaken your position at the table.
  • Union Direct offers members the same convenience of payroll deduction, but eliminates the employers’ potential manipulation of dues monies.
  • With the changes in technology, payroll deduction has become an antiquated and undesirable system for payment of dues.

Why. . .Should You Switch To Union Direct?

  • You control your money not your employer.
  • Full members will see their annual dues reduced by $10.40
  • You will avoid an additional $52 annual administrative fee.
  • A $52 administration fee will be applied to all members continuing with employer payroll deduction on 12/31/01.

How . . .

  • Please print out and complete this form and return it….along with a voided check…to MNA before October 15, 1999. MNA fax# 781.821.4445
