Where to Take Your Petition

If every MNA member obtained just five signatures, nurses could win this initiative on their own.

If you decide to participate, here are some places you might consider circulating your petition:

  • In your own neighborhood
  • At the local post office
  • At your church
  • High school football games or other school events
  • At the town dump or recycling center
  • At your local coffee shop
  • At local polling stations on election day
  • Outside your facility
  • On your unit, or in your cafeteria
  • Outside election polling places on election day (must be 150 feet from polling place)
  • Two or three nurses may team up and go to their local supermarket or shopping center for two hours on a Saturday to gather signatures.
