UMass Picket

A large and spirited group of nurses and their supporters came together on Monday July 24th to stage an informational picket in front of the the hospital in Rt. 9 and Plantation St. Going from 1 to 6 PM the group got great support from the public as they drove by. The message from the bargaining unit was clear, NO CONCESSIONS, IT'S NOT FAIR TO THE NURSES OR THE PATIENTS. At times the truck and car horns drowned out any other sound. Our sincere thanks for all those who came out, and to all those drivers who showed their support.
