take a break for health care

Jobs with Justice Health Care Ballot

VOTE

Working people need secure, affordable health care coverage -- even if they get laid off, change jobs, become sick or disabled, retire, or work part time. Today, eight out of ten uninsured or underinsured people are from working families.

Skyrocketing health care costs have resulted in families paying more for less coverage. Meanwhile, HMOs, insurance companies, and drug manufacturers are making billions in profits.

A national (or state level) health insurance plan that covers everyone (similar to the efficient federal Medicare program that currently covers people over 65 years old), is the only solution that can control costs and provide secure coverage to everyone.

Winning “Health Care for All” won’t be easy! The powerful special interests who profit from the current system are already attacking the existing Medicare program. They will certainly oppose any expansion of benefits. It will take increased membership involvement and a broad grassroots movement to achieve health care reform that provides everyone with access to secure, affordable health care.

Vote to express your opinion about “Health Care for All!”

YES: I support a national (or state level) health insurance plan that covers everyone.

NO: A national (or state level) health insurance plan is the wrong solution to the health care crisis.
