Reception with food and refreshments will be held for all particpants immediately following the vigil at the Eastside Improvement Club at 170 Shrewsbury Street, Worcester, Massachusetts.

Protecting Mental Health Services for Those Most in Need

The Coalition to Save Worcester State Hospital is an alliance of citizens, family members of Worcester State patients, nurses, allied health professionals, hospital employees, political leaders, mental health advocates (including the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill), and labor/community groups. The coalition is fighting to preserve the vital and comprehensive mental health services Worcester State Hospital provides to patients and families struggling to manage the most acute and debilitating forms of mental illness.
